We haven’t had any real news about this Documentary since it screened at the Maui Film Festival last year, until now. I just received an email from the Director Jonathon Kay it contained some exciting news
“The film NA NAI’A LEGEND OF THE DOLPHINS is having it 3D Premiere at the Los Angeles 3D Film Festival on Friday evening September 21st, 2012 at 8:30PM Regal Cinema 3DFF Theater 5 LA LIVE STADIUM.”Check out the listing on the Site here

The ten star narrators featured in the Film are MEGAN FOX, KATE WINSLET, ELLEN PAGE, GERARD BUTLER, WHOOPI GOLDBERG, ISABELLA ROSSELINI, JULIAN LENNON,CHEECH MARIN, DIEGO LUNA, and JAMES FRANCO. It also features DARYL HANNAH who actually appears in the film.

Other participants include RINGO STARR. The JOHN LENNON song IMAGINE is featured in the film and permission was cleared through EMI, Capitol Records and Yoko Ono, and MICK JAGGER and KEITH RICHARDS from the ROLLING STONES have also supported this documentary by contributing the use of the wonderful song BEAST OF BURDEN. The wonderful songs LET’S GET IT ON by MARVIN GAYE and ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DREAM by THE EVERLY BROTHERS are also featured in the film.

I know of no upcoming screenings and its not out yet, it will be coming to theaters “soon” is all the info I have.
